Christine Facer Hoffman FLS is an award winning scientist and landscape architect. She is also a product designer, horticulturist, author and freelance lecturer. With a previous successful career in medical science behind her, she now runs a dynamic landscape design practice specialising in contemporary design.
Her work is inspired by scientific facts and theories and the numbers and patterns found in nature which are symbolically and metaphorically interpreted in landscape design. Working closely with the client, each project is often embedded with a strong personal narrative that relates to the client place or interest. She lives and works in the Cotswolds, London and Venice.
Christine's own designed garden, Througham Court has been described by The Times as one of England's most remarkable gardens and chosen by Tim Richardson as an extraordinary garden for the 21st century.
